Celebrating days, events, or activities that are important to members of the community is a simple way to acknowledge and celebrate the diversity that lives within our clubs. While they appear to be very simple and tokenistic, these celebrations and acknowledgements demonstrate to club members that the community is welcoming and inclusive of everyone and supports people to feel they can fully express their identity and be themselves in their club environment.
